Hi, I'm Manuel Urbina, founder and architect behind our practice, where we specialise in residential architecture and interiors across London and beyond.

I established the studio with a straightforward philosophy: thoughtful design begins with genuinely understanding the people we're creating for. Over the years, I've learned that the best projects emerge not from imposed styles, but from listening carefully to how people want to live, then translating those aspirations into spaces that feel both intentional and effortless.

Our approach is rooted in a deep appreciation for pure materiality and honest solutions—taking big ideas and refining them to their simplest, most elegant form. We intentionally take on a limited number of projects each year because I believe every detail deserves complete attention. This isn't about perfectionism for its own sake; it's about craft, integrity, and creating homes that will feel right for decades to come.

I'm fascinated by the entire journey of a project—from those early conversations and sketch ideas, through the meticulous process of resolving details, to collaborating with the skilled makers and builders who bring designs to life. There's something profound about documenting this transformation: the raw materials arriving on site, watching spaces take shape, capturing those moments when light first pours through a new opening. It's a reminder that beyond nature, despite it being our main inspiration for design we're surrounded by the built environment, and what we create genuinely matters to how people experience their daily lives.
