‘Brook Green House’ Construction Underway.
It has been a busy start to the year - with projects currently on site, projects coming soon to construction, and new projects on the drawing board. Taking a moment to share updates across these, beginning with one of ongoing projects.
With planning permission granted and full RIBA stage services underway, Brook Green House is now visibly taking shape on site.
The project sits within the Brook Green Conservation Area, and our proposals have been carefully developed to respect and respond to this sensitive context. The scope includes a rear roof dormer extension and the erection of a rear extension at third-floor level. Alongside this, a full reconfiguration of the interior is being delivered, together with structural groundworks to create a new open-plan kitchen and dining space at ground level.
Demolition works are now complete. The structural frame for the new roof extension has been formed, and the shell is being weather-sealed ahead of glazing installation, which is due to follow shortly.
A considered material choice runs throughout - handmade clay roof tiles by keymer tiles complement and celebrate the surrounding context, crafting a cohesive narrative that sits sensitively within the conservation area. It is precisely this kind of detail that elevates a project from simply permitted to genuinely place-specific.
We look forward to sharing further updates on this transformative project in the coming months, including a closer look at our internal proposals as the fit-out stage progresses.
